Which Restaurants are Open in New York City?

Going out to eat is a way of keeping some of the normalcy that you once knew in your life, and a way to keep your social life feeling, well, social.New York City’s regulations are extremely different from most other areas within the state. Everything in the city tends to be stricter being that it was a hotspot back when the virus was first making its appearance earlier this year and due to the sheer number of people per capita.  Luckily, things seem to be headed in a favorable direction lately. As of September 30th, indoor seating at restaurants opens up at 25% capacity. If all goes well with COVID19, meaning numbers of infected people remain relatively low, the maximum capacity for indoor dining will increase 50% on November 1st. Indoor dining will open the opportunity for more restaurants to open up around the city that did not have the ability to set up an outdoor dining space this summer.Things are looking up, so don’t be afraid to explore the New York City dining scene! Please note: Since it will take some time to gather up information on which restaurants are open where, this list of restaurants below excludes any restaurants opening for indoor dining as of 9/30 and is exclusively which restaurants were open prior to 9/30 for outdoor dining.
